Homelessness

I believe that the epidemic that plague our community can be reduced if not eliminated. I have lived in Oakland, all my life & this is the worst that I have ever witnessed of our displaced sisters and brothers. As I look around and as I serve the homeless, I wonder why?Oakland has so many vacant buildings. I submit that the city could use these buildings as temporary shelter while transitioning to permanent housing. These locations could be service by the residents of facility, contract with residents
