Where to move homeless -- economically
So all of those people that either don't find that worthwhile or get booted out, just go back to where they all are right now? What was solved?
Obviously this is not as nice as having a nice apartment in the middle of town, but I submit it is better than living under a freeway onramp. This is an alternative to putting a tent in a space that was never designed to accommodate it. If one doesn't find it "worthwhile" than one can move to another locale in a different city that has better accommodations. This point is, if you want to camp in Oakland, you must do it at a campground, or have your camp forcibly removed.
Work with nonprofits to help monitor locations and provide paid opportunities for residents to contribute to the maintenance of the property and build community.
