Police Control Drone with VR to Patrol
This is a terrible idea. What will stop the police from invading our privacy by looking into residential windows? Also, drones are noisy and annoying. No no no no no.
“Insufficient data”. Hire 3d party watch-drones to enforce privacy rights? Train drones to do the right thing /avoid discriminatory profiling? No-drone zones: sidewalks, yards, bathrooms? Cost-benefit analysis?!
Only criminals don't want to improve the efficiency of polices. With technology, Oakland can surely become the most safe city.
Don't just ask questions, use your brain. Drones are much affordable than helicopters. If we can have helicopters, why can't we have drones to help polices?
